SECONDARY EDUCATION
Nepalese children are not only deprived of education because they are poor, but also because they belong to lower castes from birth.
The EDFON team fired us in 2016 with a positive balance of two new projects: the start of the high school year (subsidized by Terrassa City Council) and the literacy and women's.
In March 2017 we finally started the new project of the secondary education cycle.
The aim of this project is to prevent children from starting work at the age of 9 and 10 under conditions of child exploitation.
The cycle of secondary education in Nepal consists of 5 courses. From 2017 onwards, one course per year was implemented in stages, so that in 2022 the school will become a "Higher Secondary School".
In this way, students will have a greater opportunity to access a qualified job.
